I am a postdoctoral scholar at the Querrey Simpson Institute for Bioelectronics at Northwestern University, working in Prof. John A. Rogers' group. My work lies at the intersection of thin-film physics, surface chemistry, and bioelectronics, with an interdisciplinary focus on bioresorbable implants with programmable lifetimes and responsive material interfaces for clinical translation.

Research
Ultrasound-Responsive Bioimplantable Systems
Platforms that use low-intensity focused ultrasound to interact with implants in the body — triggering bioresorbable device dissolution, enabling wireless actuation, drug delivery, and modulation of biological responses through microstructured resonators and ultrasound-responsive materials.
Precursor-Derived Interfaces for Encapsulation & Biointegration
Engineering conformal organic–inorganic interfaces through preceramic polymers, grafting-from chemistry, and nanofabrication — creating robust yet resorbable coatings at nanoscale that encapsulate and protect transient sensors while supporting applications such as temperature sensor and pressure sensors.
Stimuli-Responsive Materials for Transient Devices
Materials reactive to temperature, pressure, and X-ray irradiation, integrated into miniaturized bioresorbable platforms with tailored readout strategies — from optical detection to biomedical imaging — expanding the functional scope of transient bioelectronics.
