My work lies at the intersection of nanomaterials, polymer science, and bioelectronics, with an interdisciplinary focus on bioresorbable implants with programmable lifetimes and responsive material interfaces for clinical translation.

Ultrasound-Responsive Bioimplantable Systems
Platforms that use low-intensity focused ultrasound to interact with implants in the body — triggering bioresorbable device dissolution, enabling wireless actuation, drug delivery, and modulation of biological responses through microstructured resonators and ultrasound-responsive materials.
Polymer Brush Interfaces for Biosensing & Biointegration
Engineering in situ biosensing interfaces through surface-initiated polymer brush synthesis and nanofabrication — robust, nanopatterned coatings on transient sensor surfaces for glucose monitoring, cell-response control, and antifouling performance.
Stimuli-Responsive Materials for Transient Devices
Materials reactive to temperature, pressure, and X-ray irradiation, integrated into miniaturized bioresorbable platforms with tailored readout strategies — from optical detection to biomedical imaging — expanding the functional scope of transient bioelectronics.
